Visit Your Midwest National Parks

In case you haven't heard, the National Parks Service has been celebrating it's 100th birthday this year. Since 1916, the National Park Service has been caring for our national parks. There are a lot of volunteers, partners and employees that work together to safeguard these special places. Every year there are more than 275 million visitors.

To honor this wonderful achievement of 100 years, the National Parks Service have been having some really cool celebrations. Throughout the year, there were (and still are) lots of opportunities to visit parks across the country for free. Plus, there have been events and activities across the country for families.

The last free day for this year will be November 11, Veteran's Day. Luckily you don't have to travel far, we have plenty of National Park areas right here in the Midwest. Take a look at this link to find a park near you.

If you don't have the opportunity to visit a National Park this year, have no fear. Hopefully these beautiful places will be around for a while. Pick your park, then plan your adventure today!

Live big.
